Gabriel's Lament

I woke up thinking,of all things, about war in heaven.

there really isnt a lot of information given in the old testament about that war. Did they use swords? Did they use telepathic angel wing crushing powers? 1/3 of Heaven banished into darkness? So...how is heaven divided...if One Third of Heaven was cleared out...3 parts of one whole. There was a war..in heaven..Angel vs Angel. God,according to the story,didnt really intervene until all was said and done...and Desolation was Created by God. I try sometimes to look at the world or life or what have you..as if God never existed. As if the bible stories werent ingrained in my psyche....and the lines of the cities seem cold..and People...the infinite wealth of the universe...keep missing their marks...we sell ourselves so short sometimes...we have been given gifts..the tools..to end our own suffering..to end the suffering of others...well..maybe not to End Suffering...in the global sense..but..you know what I mean. Anyway. Im going to go and read my nytimes now...outside because its warm and sunny...
