Hey everyone...its that time of year again...and that time would be..The AIDS Walk in Nyc. I lurk around a few blogs...lovingly known to some as The Tribe.

They are participating in the walk and have set up a cool donation page on amazon.com...here is the link:

AIDS Sucks,

you know one dollar means as much as 50 of them so please donate and do what you can. I made my donation in honor of my cousin...maybe you know someone that you'd like to honor.

Thanks so much

In other news....

Have you heard about One dot Org, ?? This is a celebrity sponsored petition....not a fundraising site. It is a petition that they plan to give to George Bush to get him to increase aid to foreign countries dealing with massive poverty and Aids. It is very cool.their statement on the website is as follows:"The ONE Campaign is a new effort to rally Americans to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. Each ONE of us can make a difference. Together as ONE we can change the world. We can beat: AIDS Starvation Extreme poverty ONE billion people live on less than ONE dollar a day" Im going to ad my voice to this campaign and add one more quest to it's agenda:what are we going to do about the hungry and dieing people in america??

as i sit here with my well fed belly...I know that there are people in america..most of them children...that are malnourished and going hungry. And Aids is back...not that it went away..but its back and its worse..and Young People..mostly minorities are falling victim. It would suit us as a citizenry to ask our president what he intends to do...about the suffering of his own people. The young, the old,the ill.....should never have any reason to fear where their next meal is coming from.

And to digress for just a second....it seems funny to me..that during ww2 jobs were created...and the economy recovered really well...under GW...he wants us to go shopping..but does nothing to help protect jobs from being outsourced.

interesting dont you think?

anyway....

I got to take a ride in C's new hot rod last night. Omg what a great car!!!! It was a great night to cruise and stare out of the moonroof...the sky was filled with beautiful stars...And he treated me to a chocolate and carmel covered giant brownie. Thanks C!

thanks again loves for all that you do to make the world better...I have great faith in you.

Im off to make some fresh iced tea and some coq au vin....did I spell that right?

Love and Peace
