I signed up for Nanowrimo. because Im crazy.

but...why not..let's see what happens.

I viewed about 150 pieces of art today. The only problem being the gaggle of the sweet elderly set that had to point out how many of the artists they know. Well..I say to myself..that Explains it.

It was a watercolor/acrylic exhibit. And 145 of them were all imitations of the other. Its like getting stuck on The Madonna Floor at The National Gallery! (will it ever end oh mary mother of God will it ever end?)

one fellow did a really cool Art History 101 in miniature that was just too cool. He had done a miniature of an Egyptian Pharoah's tomb (for a fictional Pharoah) and then he did 7 cases on the wall...each containing 4 levels of miniature paintings and sculptures..beginning with the cave drawings and moving all the way up to a cool little Pollock.

Each level had 8 paintings/sculptures..so that is what? 224 paintings?

truly neat. you could skip the class and just view his space..:)

ok..so maybe I actually saw More than 150 pieces of art today.

I wanna see Mates of State and Death Cab for Cutie down in NC. I didn't want to have to go alone but It looks like that will be the way it goes.

Its on Sunday...?? why? why not a friday night huh? huh? anyway.

Im worn out...time for a movie or something...
