So looking at this list...I see what I need to live...food and water...and what objects..mean the most.

It is very likely that by thursday this place will be completely wiped out. In Virginia the threat of Hurricanes is very very real. We have been lucky (and some parts not so lucky) to be spared a really horrible storm for a very long while.

Willoughby Spit is an area of town actually created by a Hurricane...every time there is a serious threat of a storm..all eyes turn to look at it...to speculate..if Nature will reclaim that sand bar...for the ocean..from whence it came.

To say Im not concerned would be lying.

Im very concerned. But. you know. I just hope we all make it out ok.

Isabel is a formidable creature...I only wish I had a raft and a raincoat...

so here's to Nature....she can't be sold. she can't be invaded or otherwise taken against her will. She is Life's true Queen...
