I was going through some old entries and I found this article....

did any of you see the Frontline episode about how mentally ill people are basically housed in Prisons?

Its really quite disturbing actually...

and it makes no sense to me.

Oh. And. yeah. The two republicans running for Governor of Virginia....won the primary. That means that they go up for vote against one another. that means i wont be voting.

neither of them are anywhere near realistic. all ikeep hearing is...better schools...tax cuts..and family values.

basically. that means. Bullshit.

If you want better schools...stop the SOL-s (standardized testing)....invest new construction in neglected school districts...and raise the standards for teachers.

or something like that....

and really taxes dont need to be cut. they need to stay where they are. How about V-dot. Can we talk about the 200 million dollar add on to the bill for the interstate construction...that may not be completed until...2009.

get in touch power playas. You might win the election...but i doubt you will ever win my mind and heart.

Oh if only Mark Warner could be re-elected. I would gladly have him as my Governor again.
