tonight I bailed out of work having had no day off in 4 weeks. I did all of my laundry. I paid bills. I avoided the real world. i watched tv. and i drank tequila with my brother.we ate smashed potatoes..drank more tequila. called my brother in florida.
ate some chocolate cake. drank more tequila.
and for about 4 hours...i never felt better.
it wasn't the jose cuervo.
it was the fun. the laughs. the joy. the chasing of memories. the love of a somewhat disjointed but unique family.
it was what life is about. the people in it.
not just the job .
I had the time of my life tonight.
